Isuzu VIP Drive Days events set for Northern Ireland

Todd's Leap Adventure Centre will host the first of seven Isuzu VIP Drive Days in Northern Ireland to demonstrate the abilities of the latest generation D-Max.

Isuzu dealers' VIP guests will head for the Co Tyrone 4x4 tourist attraction to take on the challenging offroad circuit in a brand new model of Northern Ireland's favourite pick-up, the Isuzu D-Max. The NI demonstration drive days roll out later this month across each of the six dealers in the Province.

Fresh from the UK launch of the 2017 model D-Max at Balmoral Show, an Isuzu spokesman said "Everyone at Balmoral wanted to drive our new pick-up. We had previously researched locations and were seriously impressed by Todd's Leap. It has superb facilities and varying levels of driver challenges and was the obvious choice. Expert instructors will ensure novices receive sound coaching - whatever the weather throws at us Todd's Leap is the perfect setting."

"The new D-Max can be driven on and offroad on the days. We have a laden trailer to demonstrate our pick-up's class-leading towing ability and new hillstart and descent control features. It promises to be a terrific event, with barbecue and tea/coffee service for participants. Todd's Leap will thoroughly test AWD, shift-on-the-fly and Low Range. Prebook early to avoid disappointment - the Todd's Leap event is strictly invitation only, with limited places. Call your local dealer to register".

"There are six additional dealer demonstration events later this month so if the Todd's Leap date doesn't suit contact any Isuzu NI dealer for an invite to their own exclusive event. The all new powertrain - 6 speed automatic or manual - returns up to 46mpg combined from a new turbodiesel engine. With a bigger tank the driving range now exceeds 500 miles. The flagship Blade model is the only pick-up with Apple Play and Android connectivity. All models now have five years Euro Assist for peace of mind should you run out of fuel on either side of the Border, or need help changing the full sized spare wheel supplied as standard."

The 2017 D-Max boasts more power, more specification and more economy - the all new powertrain achieves the seemingly impossible - greater output, using less fuel. Isuzu's turbodiesel achieves Euro 6 emissions without resort to AdBlue, bringing significant savings on running and maintenance costs, and a welcome hassle free experience for vehicle drivers.

"New D-Max is another jump forward for the class leader, it's available on BASC and UFU schemes to deliver even more value for Members. The best in class just got better - we're so confident about new D-Max's capabilities we're offering 48 hour demos to prospective buyers. A no obligation opportunity to separate the best from the rest. Isuzu only build commercials - every part is designed to do as hard a day's work as our growing band of NI customers. Come along and experience the D-Max difference for yourself - be sure to say the Belfast Telegraph sent you!"
