With 12 Premieres, performers from 12 different countries and over 120 events happening from 16 Oct – 3 November what will you choose to go and see at this year’s Belfast International Arts Festival?

This year the festival welcomes a whole host of international performers and personalities such as Hollywood icon Isabella Rossellini, three time Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo, blues legend Eric Bibb, former Irish President Mary Robinson and Olivier Award nominee Josette Bushell-Mingo for a great celebration of contemporary art across all disicplines.

From the critically acclaimed Nina – A Story about Me and Nina Simone to the beautiful and contemplative Tunisian dance work, Facing the Sea for Tears to turn into Laughter there is an abundance of world class events coming to our capital.

The festival will also heavily feature the best of Northern Ireland’s art scene with the world premiere of Dear Arabella from critically acclaimed playwright Marie Jones, a brand new exhibition from celebrated artist Neil Shawcross, gala concerts from the Ulster Orchestra and readings from one of our greatest living poets Michael Longely and Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Muldoon.
