The long list of family-friendly events at this year’s event begins with Flow Yoga Studios at City Hall leading Belfast in a Salute to the Sun and includes a Mob and Street Party on Fountain Street.

Among the many activities will be Outdoor Twister, Street Countdown, The Big Belfast Choir, Pro Wrestling Ulster Live, American Football, and Roller Derby.

An international flavour will be brought with Lithuanian Folk Dance, Argentine Tango, and AfroCarib Urban Fest plus Belfast Ukulele Jam, Féile Women’s Singing Group, Drag Queen Storytime as well as live music, tours, talks on every corner of the city centre.

People are now being given the chance to be part of the single biggest evening in the city's cultural calendar by volunteering their time.

Culture Night Belfast have teamed up with Volunteer Now and are looking for those who are "enthusiastic and passionate" about promoting the arts in Belfast.

Each volunteer will get bespoke training, as well as a free t-shirt for taking part.
