Alice Eve enjoying CIA training
Alice Eve has revealed she has been put through CIA training for her new film Criminal.
The Star Trek Into Darkness star is shooting the thriller on location around London, with an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones and The Iceman director Ariel Vromen.
Alice revealed: "It is action, there's CIA in it. I had to learn how to work guns, and shoot and dodge and throw myself down. That was an experience.
"I am filming that around London at the moment, with a really good director who I really enjoy working with, so I look forward to seeing it."
The film sees the memories and skills of a deceased CIA agent implanted into the brain of a dangerous convict.
While Alice has worked with JJ Abrams on both his Star Trek movies, she refused to confirm or deny whether she has even paid a visit to the set of the new Star Wars movie at Pinewood Studios.
She said: "Those guys they have heavy pistols! And if I even say anything in their direction I will be put in Bad Robot jail. I'm sure they're going to nail it, but I'm not going to be the one to tell you how."
Alice joins actor-turned-director Dexter Fletcher and a panel of industry experts, chaired by producer and deputy chair of Bafta's Film Committee, Pippa Harris, on the jury to find the next EE Rising Star.
The jury's five nominees will be announced and put up for public vote on Wednesday January 7 next year.
