Aniston: Jolie feud stories 'petty'
Jennifer Aniston has revealed that there is no rivalry between her and Angelina Jolie.
There had been speculation that there was some awkwardness between the former Friends star, 45, and the 39-year-old actress and director during the awards season, because of Jennifer's past with ex-husband and Angelina's now-husband, Brad Pitt.
But Jen told Entertainment Tonight: "I think that's slowly coming to an end. I really do."
The Cake star proved there was no ill feeling towards her former love rival as she praised Angelina's new film, Unbroken.
"I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job," she said. "I think that it's time people stop with that petty BS and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness."
Jennifer also said the constant speculation surrounding their friendship is annoying.
"It's just tiresome and old," she added. "It's like an old leather shoe. Let's buy a new pair of shiny shoes."
Reports of a feud between Jennifer and Angelina began after the Friends actress split with Brad in 2005 after five years of marriage. Brad then began dating Angelina, whom he met on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith in 2005, and the couple, who have six children, married in France last August.
Jennifer, who is now engaged to actor-writer Justin Theroux, told Harper's Bazaar: "I think it's extremely important to forgive. Otherwise it just builds up like toxic waste. Listen, people can do unforgivable things but you have to let it go and say, 'Look, we're all human beings. We make mistakes'."
