Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson strut their stuff at Paris Fashion Week in epic announcement of Zoolander 2
And yes, they were really, really ridiculously good-looking...
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson made a surprise appearance in the Valentino show this morning at Paris Fashion Week.
The actors who star in fashion's favourite film Zoolander, took to the catwalk to close the Valentino autumn/winter 2015 collection.
It takes quite alot to shock a fashion week audience, especially one coming to the end of a month-long global tour taking in the autumn/winter 2015 collections, but the appearance of the Zoolander stars appears to have done just that.
Derek Zoolander and Hansel (so hot right now) closed Valentino’s show at Paris Fashion Week, were pictured with Vogue editor Anna Wintour and even staged a “walk-off” live to the tune of “Don’t You Want Me” by the Human League.
Stiller appeared in a navy brocade suit with matching overcoat, whilst Wilson wore a light blue printed set with grey trench coat which he throws to the ground while making his way up the catwalk.
Luckily for Zoolander there were no left turns on the packed catwalk, and the crowd was even treated to the return of his famous signature look “Blue Steel”.
The cameo appearance celebrates the release of the new Zoolander film which sees both actors reprising their roles as models Derek Zoolander and Hansel.
While Stiller had been confirmed for the star role in the sequel to the 2001 hit, Wilson’s appearance is more or less the first solid word on his reprisal of Hansel. According to ComingSoon, Justin Theroux is down to co-write and direct while Will Ferrell’s return as Mugatu is “all-but-confirmed”.
The original Zoolander featuring David Bowie in a cameo only grossed $60 million at the box office but became a cult hit with successful DVD sales.
