Made In Chelsea star Alexandra “Binky” Felstead has said she and her partner Josh “JP” Patterson are finally “in the same place” and serious about their relationship after welcoming their baby.

The couple had an on-off relationship on E4’s structured reality show and, when Felstead discovered she was pregnant with Patterson’s baby, they were not an item.

But they have since rekindled their romance and are raising daughter India, who was born in June, together.

Felstead, 27, told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine: “Weirdly, I feel like everything has fallen into place.

“We’re really happy.

“It’s been very tricky and quite hard work and we just kept ‘missing’ each other.

“Now it feels like we’re both in the same place.”

Felstead said becoming parents had deepened the couple’s bond.

“He said to me he feels new-found love for me, which is really nice, and I think it brings you closer together naturally,” she said.

“I think he has a lot of respect for what I’ve produced.

“You know, it’s not like a silly relationship [any more]. It’s now serious.

“We’re Mummy and Daddy and we have this special bond.”

Felstead quit Made In Chelsea after finding out she was to be a mother.

The couple now have their own spin-off series about their new lives as parents, entitled Born In Chelsea.
