Bloom promises full nudity in Zulu
Orlando Bloom has revealed that he bares almost all in his new film Zulu, wearing only a sock to cover his modesty.
The Hobbit star strips off for the drama, saying fans will "get to see the full Orlando Bloom", in the big-screen adaptation of Caryl Ferey's novel.
The 36-year-old father-of one told Watch What Happens Live: "Earlier this year I spent about seven days on set wearing just a c*** sock because I'm nude.
"It's a film called Zulu and it stars myself and Forest Whitaker. It's directed by this fantastic French director called Jerome Salle. We premiered it at Cannes."
Orlando and Forest play cops investigating the murder of an 18-year-old girl, the daughter of a rugby player, in apartheid-era Cape Town.
Forest's character Ali Sokhela, who is chief of the city's homicide division, decides to team up with Orlando's character - a " free-wheeling white officer" to try to solve the case.
Jerome and Julien Rappeneau have adapted the script from Caryl Ferey's novel of the same name.
Orlando will reprise his role as expert elf archer Legolas in the upcoming instalments of Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation Of Smaug and There And Back Again.
