Bonham Carter excited about singing
Helena Bonham Carter has revealed she has yet to start work on Les Miserables.
The Dark Shadows actress is set to portray unscrupulous innkeeper's wife Madame Thenardier in Tom Hooper's big-screen adaptation of the award-winning musical, alongside Sacha Baron Cohen as her screen husband.
"I don't know yet. I haven't really started it. I should have," Helena said.
The 45-year-old can't wait to flex her vocal cords again, following her singing stints in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street and Corpse Bride.
"I'm just rehearsing and learning to sing it. I'm looking forward to it," she added.
Hugh Jackman stars as released convict Jean Valjean while Russell Crowe is police inspector Javert and Anne Hathaway has been cast as factory worker Fantine.
Hugh released a video on his Twitter from the Les Miserables set in London, showing himself in the period outfit, complete with grey hair.
"I've aged a little bit. That's what happens in these musicals," he quipped.
Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne also appear in Les Miserables, which has started shooting and is scheduled for release in December.
