Bower wants Star Wars villain role

Jamie Campbell Bower has revealed his ambitions to play a villain in Star Wars.

The 25-year-old model and actor is yet to bag a role in one of the new movies, but thinks his British accent should qualify him to play a Sith lord, like Sir Christopher Lee in Attack Of The Clones.

Jamie told the MailOnline: "I'd love to be a part of Star Wars.

"I'd be a Sith, of course - I'm English! We've got the voice and it's perfect for the bad guys."

The Twilight star last appeared in The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones with Lily Collins and Kevin Zegers, the first film adaptation of the fantasy series by Cassandra Clare.

Constantin Films were reported to be starting production on the next film this year, City Of Ashes, but Jamie is still unclear if his character, warrior Jace, will be returning.

He said: "I've read all the books and the new one, City Of Heavenly Fire, too. If they asked me to do the next one I'd f***ing love to."
