Brad Pitt ‘plans Hindu-style wedding to Angelina Jolie’
Brad Pitt is said to be planning to marry Angelina Jolie in a Hindu ceremony next year.
The couple — who already have six children — have made headlines worldwide with their ‘rainbow' family and have so far denied any intention to get married.
Pitt and Jolie met on the set of the 2005 Hollywood action film Mr And Mrs Smith, in which they both had starring roles.
Jolie was single at the time, having divorced her second husband Billy Bob Thornton in 2003.
Pitt, however, was still going through the end of his marriage with actress Jennifer Aniston, who he had married in a |much-publicised ceremony |in Malibu in 2000, costing a |reported $1m.
Pitt and Aniston — whose union many considered one of the strongest in Hollywood — stated ‘irreconcilable differences' in their divorce in January 2005, although it is speculated that Aniston's reluctance to start a family was one of the main reasons for the |relationship between the two breaking down.
Pitt and Jolie's on-set friendship created a much-publicised scandal, with speculation rife on whether their relationship had started while Pitt was still married to Aniston.
Fans then quickly divided into allegiances, creating the ‘Team Jolie' and ‘Team Aniston' |phenomenon.
