Breslin turns to zombie in Maggie
Abigail Breslin is set to play Arnold Schwarzenegger's screen daughter in zombie thriller Maggie.
The Oscar-nominated actress is in talks to take on the role of an infected human in Henry Hobson's upcoming film, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Chloe Grace Moretz, who has starred in vampire drama Let Me In and action movie Kick-Ass, was previously attached to the part.
Arnie, who is one of the producers on the film, is already on board to portray her father who tries to prevent his daughter turning into a zombie, after she gets infected by a walking-dead virus hitting the country.
Filming on Maggie is expected to begin in the autumn.
Abigail, who received a Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her performance in Little Miss Sunshine, has upcoming roles in sci-fi adaptation Ender's Game opposite Asa Butterfield and family drama August: Osage County.
The 17-year-old is also starring in supernatural horror Haunter and thriller The Call.
