Buckley wants family friendly role
The Inbetweeners star James Buckley has admitted he'd love to make a family film his kids can watch.
The 27-year-old actor and father-of-two - known to millions as Jay from the hit comedy - stars in new horror movie The Pyramid.
But James revealed: "I'd really love to do a voice for a character or a cartoon or be in a kids' show, just so that my boys can watch me in something. Because either I'm doing something which is going to scare them half to death or it's just so rude that social services would take the kids off me."
He revealed his young sons know his Inbetweeners co-stars and recognise them on the TV - but don't really understand they are famous.
James explained: "I don't think they understand. My kids know the other boys from The Inbetweeners and when they do their other television stuff, an advert will come up on the TV or one of them has done a voiceover or whatever, my oldest boy'll recognise it and I think he just thinks that everyone is off the television. I don't think he understands that it's quite unusual."
And the actor admits he is still amazed by the success of The Inbetweeners.
He said: "The response to The Inbetweeners is overwhelming. There isn't a single person that's horrible to me or has given me any aggro or stick out in the street., Everyone I encounter tells me how funny The Inbetweeners is.
"Imagine if that was your life. Strangers coming up to you every day saying 'I think you're really good', it's an absolute blessing."
