Carrey: More fun doing Dumber To
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have admitted they had more fun making the Dumb And Dumber sequel than the original film.
The comic actors are back as dim-witted best friends Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas in Dumb And Dumber To, the long-awaited follow up to the 1994 comedy.
And they revealed certain aspects were more enjoyable this time around.
Jim said: "Honestly, it was like we just did it yesterday and boom, we were back in it.
"It was a fantastic, familiar feeling."
Jeff, 59, said knowing each other and the characters so well helped when it came to shooting the movie, which this time follows the best buddies as they go in search of Harry's long-lost daughter.
"We were kind of just meeting each other as we were doing the first one," said the actor. "You've got two different acting styles going on - is it going to even work? And the first one, we guessed right, and it did.
"Now it's just a lot easier. We know more, we know what's funny, we know the two characters well - all the stuff we didn't know in the first one we already know in the second one, so we just get to do it again, only we hope better."
"And we were blood doping," Jim, 52, joked. "So that made it easier."
Dumb And Dumber To is due to be released in the UK in December.
