Celebrity Big Brother viewers have described Ann Widdecombe’s reaction to a group of male strippers as “the highlight of the series.”

The former MP covered her hands with her ears as Ginuwine played his hit Pony for the house and the men gyrated to the music.

While Wayne Sleep danced along, lifting up his top, and the other housemates enjoyed the spectacle, Widdecombe was visibly horrified and retreated to the bedroom to put a towel over her head.

One fan wrote: “Ann running away from the strippers is the best thing I’ve seen all day.”

Another wrote: “Ann’s face when the strippers started dancing sorry Ann but that was HILARIOUS!”

Another viewer said: “ann running away from the strippers is 100% the highlight o the series.”

One more wrote: “Creased at Ann Widdecombe running for the hills when the strippers came in the house.”

Widdecombe and Sleep will compete with Jess Impiazzi, Shane Lynch and Shane Jenek, also known as drag queen Courtney Act, to win the series in the live final on Friday.

In the last episode before the final the remaining housemates were reunited with the evicted contestants.

Rachel Johnson entered first to perform a rap before all the eliminated reality stars, including Andrew Brady, India Willoughby and Amanda Barrie, made a surprise appearance.

There was an emotional reunion between Brady and Courtney Act, as the former Apprentice candidate backed the drag queen to win.

Fans were thrilled to see the duo back together again, with one writing: “andrew and shane/courtney’s friendship is literally the cutest thing i have ever witnessed in my life.”

Another wrote: “‘you really are the most amazing thing i’ve met in the past few years of my life’ – ANYONE ELSE BURST INTO TEARS AT ANDREW SAYING THIS TO COURTNEY OR IS IT JUST ME.”

Another viewer said: “Courtney’s little face when she saw Andrew again honestly I’m crying.”

Either Widdecombe, Impiazzi, Sleep,  Lynch or Jenek will be crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother during the live final on Friday.
