Cinema Icon honour for Costner
Kevin Costner is set to be honoured with CinemaCon's Cinema Icon award.
The Oscar-winning actor-director will receive his gong at a ceremony on March 27 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, reported Variety.
The 59-year-old won an Oscar for directing Dances With Wolves and an Emmy in 2012 for playing William 'Devil Anse' Hatfield in the record-setting mini-series Hatfields And McCoys.
After starring in films like Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, The Bodyguard and JFK in the 80s and 90s, he has been enjoying a resurgence in his big-screen career with roles in Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel and Kenneth Branagh's Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.
Kevin will next star in thriller 3 Days To Kill alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Amber Heard, and sports comedy Draft Day.
