Craig quits thriller Whole Truth
Daniel Craig has apparently left the production of new thriller The Whole Truth in disarray by pulling out of the project at the last minute.
The James Bond star was due to appear opposite Renee Zellweger in the legal drama, which was about to begin shooting in Boston.
But local paper The Boston Globe has reported that Daniel pulled out of the movie unexpectedly at the weekend, halting production. The paper cites "local film industry professionals" who were due to work on the drama as their source.
According to the newspaper, the British actor had been seen preparing for the role at Suffolk County Superior Court last month, and was spotted at the Four Seasons hotel in Boston on April 6.
Daniel is said to have signed onto the project at the beginning of the year, with Renee joining the cast in March.
Frozen River's Courtney Hunt was set to direct, from a script written by Nicholas Kazan, who penned 2002 thriller Enough starring Jennifer Lopez.
Daniel is due to begin shooting the 24th James Bond film in the autumn with the release set for October and November of 2015.
