Cruise, Liman to reunite for Mena
Tom Cruise could be teaming up with director Doug Liman again for action drama Mena.
The pair, who previously collaborated on Edge Of Tomorrow, are in talks to reunite for the movie, reported Deadline.
The Mission: Impossible star is tipped to play Barry Seal, a pilot as well as gun runner and drug trafficker who transported contraband for the CIA and the Medellin cartel in the eighties in the true life story, which has been written by Gary Spinelli.
The film's title refers to Mena, Arkansas, where most of the illegal activity took place, unknown to US Presidents Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush and then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton.
Tom, last seen in action-thriller Edge Of Tomorrow, has been shooting Mission: Impossible 5, where he reprises his role as agent Ethan Hunt.
