Cuba Gooding Jr gets gridlocked
Cuba Gooding Jr is set to star in action thriller Gridlocked.
The Oscar winner will play a former SWAT team leader who's being shadowed by an arrogant movie star, who is following him around while researching a role, in the movie directed by Allan Ungar, The Wrap reported.
Ungar, who recently made Tapped, will direct from an original screenplay he wrote with Rob Robol.
Cuba won an Oscar for his supporting role opposite Tom Cruise in 1996 film Jerry Maguire.
He has also won plaudits for his role as Carter Wilson in Lee Daniels' The Butler and will soon be seen in the slavery drama Carry Me Home.
Gridlocked shoots this spring.
