Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he wants to get behind the camera and try his hand at directing.
The 23-year-old Harry Potter star has gone on to forge a successful stage and screen career since the end of the wizarding franchise and is now hoping to make his own films.
Daniel admitted: "I would love to direct, definitely and I hope I get to do that soon."
The Woman In Black star has just begun rehearsals to star on stage in the West End in Martin McDonagh's black comedy The Cripple Of Inishmaan, and was named Empire Hero at the Jameson Empire Awards.
Daniel said he felt he and fellow Harry Potter child stars including Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton had been expected to fail after the franchise ended, but he was proud they had all proved critics wrong.
He said: "I think people want to see Potter as much more of a handcuff than it ever actually has been. And because it doesn't necessarily fit the narrative that everyone had in their heads when we started the series, that we were all going to just burn out, we're all doing our best to defy that, which is nice."
