Demi gets Camp Rock 2 deja vu
Demi Lovato says returning to Camp Rock has been surreal.
The 17-year-old hit the red carpet in New York to promote the sequel to the massive Disney hit, and told reporters being reunited with her former castmates - including the Jonas Brothers - felt slightly odd.
"I'm getting to see all my old friends and I feel like it's deja vu, you know?" the young actress laughed.
She added: "So much has changed since the first movie."
Demi describes the follow-up TV movie - titled Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam - as even "bigger and better" than the original, which was watched by an estimated audience of 137 million globally.
"The biggest challenge was probably learning the dances, not so easy but we had a good time. It was pretty intense, we were dancing for like seven hours a day but we had fun," she said.
But the actress wouldn't confirm whether she is signed on to make a third in the series.
"I don't know, you gotta wait and find out!" she laughed.
:: Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam airs on September 17 at 6.30pm on Disney Channel.
