Deneuve to chair film festival
Catherine Deneuve has been chosen to head up the Dinard British Film Festival's competition jury.
The French film star - whose movie career spans more than 50 years - will be the president of the jury when the event takes place in Dinard, France in October.
The festival said that the Oscar-nominated and Cesar-winning actress was an "icon of French cinema".
The rest of the jury will be announced later this summer.
Catherine, 40, follows in the footsteps of Eric Cantona who chaired the panel last year.
The festival, which runs from October 8 to 12 this year, celebrates British film.
