Zac Efron has revealed he has attended a meeting about Star Wars: Episode VII.
The US actor, who was rumoured to have been approached about the upcoming instalment of the sci-fi movie, confirmed he has met with Disney for a role.
"Yeah, I just went and met with them. So I don't know," he told MTV.com.
"It would be cool. I love them (the Star Wars films), but... who knows?" he added.
Zac, who can currently be seen in romantic comedy That Awkward Moment alongside Michael B Jordan and Miles Teller, will next be in comedy Neighbours opposite Seth Rogen. The former High School Musical star has recently been seen in more mature roles in romantic drama The Lucky One, thriller The Paperboy and JFK assassination drama Parkland.
The 26-year-old is one of the many stars who have been linked to Star Wars: Episode VII, which will be directed by JJ Abrams.
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ryan Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio, Saoirse Ronan, Alex Pettyfer, Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael B Jordan are among the other names that have also been rumoured for roles.
Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill are tipped to be returning to reprise their original roles in the film, which will be released in December 2015.
