Jesse Eisenberg has said he's never been happier than on the set of Now You See Me.
The Oscar-nominated Social Network star admitted playing magician J Daniel Atlas in the magic-themed thriller has been one of his favourite characters of his career to date.
"After the movie ended, I thought that was the only time I've ever been happy on a movie set and that was because I realised, in retrospect, I was playing somebody who liked themselves," he said.
"And so, it does end up seeping in. If you're playing someone who likes themselves all day, at the end of the day you feel good about yourself."
Jesse said playing someone confident made him become a bit more extrovert in real life too.
"I enjoyed playing the role and I liked playing a guy who likes performing on stage because I usually find it very nerve-racking. But if you force yourself to feel confident about it, it tricks you into thinking you are," he added.
The 29-year-old revealed he would be open to working with his co-stars including Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco again.
"Yeah, of course. Isla is the funniest person in the world. That would be great. We did a lot of improvisation in this movie, and all of us like comedy," he said.
Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman also star in Now You See Me, which is in cinemas now.
