Ejiofor in talks for Triple Nine
Chiwetel Ejiofor looks set to star in crime drama Triple Nine.
The 12 Years A Slave star is currently in talks about joining John Hillcoat's movie, reported The Wrap.
Casey Affleck and Michael B Jordan are also negotiating about parts in the film, which Christoph Waltz and Cate Blanchett have already been linked to.
The movie will follow a group of crooks who plan to kill a police officer to divert attention away from a heist they are planning.
Casey is said to be close to signing a deal to play the cop, a part actor Charlie Hunnam had been linked to, while Chiwetel is tipped to star as the man behind the plot. Michael is in talks to play a crooked cop who plans to set up Casey's character.
Cate is expected to star as a mobster's wife and Christoph will apparently play another policeman.
Production is due to start next year.
