Ellen Page is delighted to be reprising her superhero role as Kitty Pryde, aka Shadowcat, in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
The 26-year-old actress - who played Shadowcat in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand - is currently filming the latest sequel in Montreal, Canada.
Ellen told CBS News: "I couldn't be more fortunate to be back for another one. It's been great. (Director) Bryan Singer is fantastic. The cast is incredible."
X-Men: Days Of Future Past is expected to team stars from prequel movie X-Men: First Class, including James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, with stars from the original X-Men trilogy such as Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen.
The film is due out next summer.
Meanwhile, Ellen stars in a new film about eco-terrorism, The East, co-starring Alexander Skarsgard and Brit Marling and is also busy working on her directorial debut, Miss Stevens, starring Anna Faris.
