Evangeline Lilly in Ant-Man talks
Evangeline Lilly could be set to star as the female lead in superhero film Ant-Man, according to reports.
This Is 40 star Paul Rudd is already lined up as the male lead in the Marvel flick, with Michael Douglas and Michel Pena also set to star.
Now Variety has reported that Canadian actress Evangeline, who recently appeared in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, is in talks to join the film, directed by British filmmaker Edgar Wright.
Edgar, best known for The World's End, Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead, co-wrote the script - based on the Marvel comics - with Joe Cornish.
It is not known yet which role Evangeline is in talks for, but Variety said she could play Pym's daughter.
Although Pym (Michael) doesn't have a daughter in the comics, it is thought that the scriptwriters have introduced some changes.
Production is set to start in April.
