Extra screening of Spice World: The Movie added to Belfast anniversary celebrations

Due to popular demand an extra screening of the 90s film Spice World: The Movie has been added to the 20th anniversary celebrations in Belfast.

The Spice Girls' 1997 cult movie will be shown at selected cinemas across the UK on Friday, 29 September.

The Odeon Cinema at Victoria Square, Belfast is showing the film at 8.30pm to celebrate the anniversary of the film's release. A second screening at 11pm has now been added to listings following tickets for the initial show selling out.

The iconic film was released at the height of the Spice Girls' fame and followed Sporty, Posh, Baby, Scary and Ginger as they encountered extra-terrestrials, a haunted castle and questionable fashion ahead of their big show at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Featuring a huge of amount of celebrity cameos, Spice World: The Movie broke box office records when it was released and remains a huge favourite for fans of the group - despite not winning over the critics.

Thank you so much for making our #SpiceWorldTheMovie screenings a HUGE success. Until next time.....................!
