Emma Stone has revealed she enjoyed working with Colin Firth on Woody Allen's latest film.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star gets to share screen time with the Oscar-winning British actor in Woody's upcoming comedy drama, Magic In The Moonlight.
"I did that last summer. It was such a great experience - it was in the south of France, and it was with Colin Firth. Colin is amazing, so it was a really good time," she said.
The film is set in the 1920s on the French Riviera, although further details about the storyline and characters have been kept under wraps.
Emma, who reprises her role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man's love interest Gwen Stacy alongside her real-life boyfriend Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, said she still gets a kick out of portraying the intelligent and strong character.
"I love playing Gwen so much so it was amazing to come back again," she said.
"Playing Gwen is such a dream. I got to work with such incredible people and tell a story I'm really passionate about. I love Gwen's whole arc so it was pretty wonderful."
The 25-year-old added: "Gwen Stacy is such an important character in the Spider-Man world. Before my audition for the first film, I read about her story and the more I read, the more I wanted to play her."
:: The Amazing Spider-Man opens in cinemas on April 16.
