French stars team up for romance
Tahar Rahim and Lea Seydoux are to find romance in drama Grand Central.
The two French rising stars will headline the contemporary romance from writer-director Rebecca Zlotowski, reported Variety.
Tahar - who won huge acclaim for his debut in Jacques Audiard's A Prophet - would play a man who becomes exposed to dangerous levels of radiation after he starts working in a nuclear plant. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol's Lea will play his colleague, whom he embarks on a passionate affair with.
"It's an intense love story, set in the daunting world of nuclear nomads, because of its visual and dramatic appeal. While the film will be politically engaged, it will mainly revolve around the romance," the director said.
Shooting is scheduled to get underway in the summer in France and Vienna, Austria, for a forthcoming 2013 release.
