Nick Frost is to make his directorial debut with a short horror film.
The Cuban Fury star has already written the script for the as-yet-untitled movie, which he plans to start shooting in the coming months.
"I wrote a short film earlier this year, and I'm hoping we're going to shoot it in May or June. It's a little short horror film," he told The Wrap.
Nick, who is best known for his work with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright in Spaced and the Cornetto films trilogy - Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End, wrote the movie during a break from filming the comedy Business Or Pleasure, in which he stars alongside Vince Vaughn and Dave Franco.
The 42-year-old will next be seen in comedy Mr Sloane, and heard in The Boxtrolls film, where he voices a character. He will also reprise his voice role in the Tintin sequel, The Adventures Of Tintin: Prisoners Of The Sun.
