Galifianakis, Wilson for heist film
Zach Galifianakis is in talks to reunite with Owen Wilson in a big-screen heist movie.
The Hangover star is said to be in "final negotiations" to star in the as-yet-untitled caper, formerly titled Loomis Fargo, reported The Wrap.
The duo previously starred together in indie comedy You Are Here, which was written and directed by Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner.
The upcoming film, which will be directed by Napoleon Dynamite's Jared Hess and based on real-life events, follows a disgruntled armoured car driver (played by Zach), who joins forces with a group of inexperienced criminals to pull off a huge heist and steal nearly 20 million US dollars from a bank. When he is betrayed by his accomplices, he decides to turn the tables on them and get his revenge.
Production is expected to start in North Carolina in summer 2014.
Zach, who is known for playing Alan Garner in The Hangover films, will next star in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's comedy Birdman alongside Michael Keaton and Emma Stone, and Disney sequel, Muppets Most Wanted.
