Greta Gerwig admits crush on Brand
Greta Gerwig has revealed she had a big crush on her Arthur co-star Russell Brand.
The US actress, who starred in the comedy remake alongside Dame Helen Mirren and Jennifer Garner, admitted she couldn't resist falling for the British funnyman.
"I had such a crush. So embarrassing. He's kind of a magnet," she told the Daily Telegraph.
"I challenge anyone to be in a room with him and not want him to talk to you and look at you," she added.
Greta - whose new film Damsels In Distress debuted in the top spot in the US - next stars in Woody Allen's To Rome With Love with Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page, which features four vignettes.
"Woody is the whole thing. I just started getting over my intimidation and then it was over," she said.
Her next big-screen outing is an as-yet-untitled film that she has written.
"It's a love story about girls. It's a girl who's in love with her best friend, but not sexually," she explained.
"It's sort of that moment when you realise, 'Oh, so we won't all move in together', and you're going to move on with your life. I wrote it, I didn't direct it, but I'm in it. I'm really proud of it. I think it's really good," she said.
