Gwyneth to star in musical film
Gwyneth Paltrow is in line for a starring role in a musical film written by Glee creator Ryan Murphy.
The Oscar-winning actress scooped an Emmy for her role as teacher Holly Holiday in the hit show and showed off her singing and dancing skills, and now she is set to star in a musical movie with Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph.
Ryan told E! News: "We want to do a musical together."
He added: "An original - I want to write an original movie for Gwyneth and Maya Rudolph, both of whom I'm great friends with - that's all I will say."
Ryan directed Gwyneth five years ago in the big screen adaptation of Augusten Burroughs' bestselling memoir, Running With Scissors, and Gwyneth showed off more musical talent playing a singer in Country Strong.
Ryan said: "I loved Country Strong. I love it when she's drunk and on the floor spitting up pills."
