Hiddleston: I'm proud of Thor role
Tom Hiddleston has denied he ever said he was "rubbish" in Thor.
The English actor - who plays villain Loki in Kenneth Branagh's Marvel superhero film, a role he reprised for Avengers Assemble - denied quotes where he apparently said: "I also felt like I'd been rubbish in Thor - there was no way I was going to come back [for Avengers Assemble]."
The 31-year-old wrote on Twitter: "There's a strange word going around that I thought I was "rubbish" in THOR. Just want to clear up that I never said that."
He added: "I am incredibly proud of the film, and my part in it, and I wouldn't dream of denigrating the work of the wonderful people who made it. Just so you know."
Tom was voted Man of the Year by Glamour magazine, where he joined winners such as Kylie Minogue (Outstanding Contribution), Jessie J (Solo Artist), Jessica Alba (Entrepreneur) and Kelly Rowland (TV personality).
"I had such a fun night. Thank you so much @GlamourMagUK I am incredibly proud & honoured to be your Man of the Year!" the actor added.
