Howard's acting tips from 50 Cent
Terrence Howard may have been acting for a decade before 50 Cent, but he has revealed what he learnt from the chart-topping star.
The duo worked together on the rapper's first film, Get Rich Or Die Tryin', and rather than giving his younger counterpart - whose real name is Curtis Jackson - some acting tips, Terrence actually picked some up.
"One of the things that I learned, the hardest thing to do is be still - I actually learned more from watching him, because he taught me to be still," he told MTV.com.
"When you don't know what to do, be still. He mastered that. And therefore, when he jumped forward and had something to say, he spoke the truth with it. That's a genius. That's what makes great film work. He was there from the beginning."
Since making his big-screen debut in 2005, the rapper has appeared alongside Hollywood royalty Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in Righteous Kill, Samuel L Jackson in Home Of The Brave and Mickey Rourke and Ray Winstone in 13.
Terrence, meanwhile, got his break in Mr Holland's Opus in 1995 and got an Oscar nomination for his performance in Hustle & Flow. He has also scooped gongs for his roles in Crash and Iron Man.
