French star Jean Dujardin is up for best actor, alongside George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Fassbender and Ryan Gosling, while Berenice Bejo has received a nod for best supporting actress with Carey Mulligan, Jessica Chastain, Octavia Spencer, Melissa McCarthy and Shailene Woodley.

British stars Andy Serkis, Tilda Swinton and Kenneth Branagh have also been nominated, while Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 picked up four nods.

Winners, based on votes from the Broadcast Film Critics Association, will be announced on January 12 2012.
