Hutcherson returning for Journey 3
Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson look set to reprise their Journey roles for a third film in the adventure series.
The Hunger Games actor Josh starred as Sean Anderson in 2008's Journey To The Centre Of The Earth and this year's follow-up, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, while former wrestler Dwayne appeared in the second film as Hank Parsons.
And now Entertainment Weekly has reported that writers are currently penning a script for the third outing.
Producer Beau Flynn said both characters are "absolutely" returning for the new film, which will focus on the Jules Verne book From The Earth To The Moon, which Michael Caine's character Alexander Anderson gives Sean and Hank at the end of Journey 2.
"We've got a big, expansive adventure for them to go on based on that book, but it's not exactly what it seems," he said.
However, the actors are not yet thought to have inked deals to return for the latest offering, which is expected to arrive in cinemas in about two years' time.
