Actress Joely Richardson has revealed she took up acting against her parents' advice.
Richardson, the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson, said she always wanted to act.
She told This Morning: "My parents did advise me to go against it and do something different, but I did have a dream and I wanted to be creative and I wanted to act."
Talking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about her new movie, Maggie, she also spoke about working alongside Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"The first day I met him was in the make-up trailer and it's very odd when someone is so famous and you meet them for the first time and you're going to be playing husband and wife," she said.
"I just tried to take it as it comes and not think of all the images that I know of him. And he was really nice.
"He was very, very good to our crew and that was the first thing I noticed. He made everyone around him feel as good as they possibly could."
