Johansson and Hill for Coens' film
Scarlett Johansson is in talks to play a pregnant actress in Hail Caesar!
The Avengers star and Jonah Hill are the latest names said to have been approached by the Coen brothers to appear in their new film, according to Variety.
Hail Caesar! will be set in the 1950s and star George Clooney as Hollywood "fixer" Eddie Mannix.
Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes are also in negotiations to co-star.
Scarlett would play an actress who suddenly becomes pregnant as her film is about to go into production. The Iron Man actress is perfect for the role as she announced in March that she is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac.
Production is scheduled to begin in the autumn and due to the large ensemble cast, Scarlett's role would not take long to shoot.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Channing would play a "Gene Kelly-type" star, while Ralph is in line for the part of Laurence Lorenz, a studio director, and Tilda is eyeing the role of a powerful Hollywood gossip columnist.
George's character is employed by film studios to protect Hollywood stars' squeaky clean images by carrying out damage control to hide any dirty secrets.
Joel and Ethan Coen have written the screenplay and will direct and produce the movie.
