Angelina Jolie could soon be back in front of the camera as she's rumoured to be in "serious talks" to star in a Luc Besson film.
Deadline reports the Salt star - who recently spoke of preferring directing to acting - is said to be speaking to the French filmmaker about taking the lead in an untitled big-scale dramatic thriller "rooted in true scientific elements", which he would write and direct.
This forthcoming collaboration is expected to happen before she teams up with Ridley Scott for a historical epic about British aristocrat Gertrude Bell.
It would be the first film that Angelina has starred in since 2010's The Tourist alongside Johnny Depp, as she has been working on her directorial and screenwriting debut, In The Land Of Blood And Honey.
Angelina was supported by her in-laws at the premiere of In The Land Of Blood And Honey in New York this week.
The 36-year-old star was joined by Brad Pitt and his parents William and Jane on the red carpet at the premiere of the love story set in the Bosnian war.
The 36-year-old is also tipped to start work soon on Maleficent, in which she would bring the Disney villainess to life on screen.
