Jonah Hill for Neighbourhood Watch
Jonah Hill is the latest star to sign up to the cast of sci-fi comedy Neighbourhood Watch.
The Superbad star will join Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, Deadline reports, in the Fox film about a group of suburban dads who start a neighbourhood watch group as a cover to escape their wives for a little male bonding time, only to find themselves in a tight spot after they uncover a plot to destroy the world.
The 27-year-old Cyrus star, who will next be seen alongside Brad Pitt in Moneyball, which premieres at the Toronto Film Festival in September, could look very different in the film, having lost a lot of weight.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who gave Jonah his breakthrough in Superbad, penned a recent draft of the Neighbourhood Watch script, to be directed by Akiva Schaffer.
Rosemarie DeWitt, who starred opposite Anne Hathaway in Rachel Getting Married and is known for her roles in TV shows Mad Men and United States Of Tara, is in talks to play Ben's wife in the film.
Neighbourhood Watch is due to begin filming in Georgia this autumn.
