Katy Perry has pulled out of a Hollywood awards ceremony following her split from Russell Brand.
The US singer told her fans on Twitter that she wouldn't be able to make the bash, where she is nominated for seven awards.
"Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People's Choice Awards. I want to thank you all for voting for me, fingers crossed. KATYCATS," she wrote.
The Fireworks singer's nominations include Favourite Pop Artist, Favourite Female Artist and Song Of The Year.
She also landed a nod in a Film category for her vocal role in The Smurfs.
After keeping silent, Katy recently spoke out on Twitter about the split, saying: "I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again.
"Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that no-one speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, 'close sources' or my family," she added.
Katy and comedian Russell announced their split after 14 months of marriage in December.
