Kidman takes Paltrow's Secret role
Nicole Kidman is in talks to replace Gwyneth Paltrow in The Secret In Their Eyes.
The Australian actress is said to be in discussions to step in for the Iron Man star in Billy Ray's English-language remake, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Julia Roberts and Chiwetel Ejiofor are already on board for the movie.
The original film (El Secreto De Sus Ojos), written and directed by Argentine filmmaker Juan Jose Campanella, won the Oscar for best foreign language film in 2010.
Starring a predominantly Argentine cast, it centred on a retired lawyer who finds himself haunted by his past as he writes a novel about an unsolved case and his unreciprocated love, in an attempt to seek closure.
Captain Phillips and The Hunger Games screenwriter Billy will return to the director's chair for the remake, which he has also written.
Nicole will next portray a villain in Paddington and play British traveller and writer Gertrude Bell in Werner Herzog's biopic Queen Of The Desert, which also stars Robert Pattinson, James Franco and Damian Lewis.
