Las Vegas sequel gets go-ahead
Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline are set to reunite for the Last Vegas sequel.
The follow-up to the comedy will see the retired quartet returning to their old stomping grounds in Brooklyn, where they soon discover it has changed.
Jon Turteltaub is being eyed to return to direct, while David Diamond and David Weissman have been hired to write the next instalment, reported Deadline.
Last Vegas, which followed the foursome as they enjoyed a holiday in Sin City, has been a sleeper hit since it was released in the US last November and in UK cinemas in January.
The film, which featured cameos from 50 Cent and LMFAO's Redfoo, banked around 134 million US dollars (£78.7 million) around the world, including 63 million US dollars (£37 million) in the US.
