Lawrence: I love Hunger Games role
Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she gave her Hunger Games co-star Josh Hutcherson concussion during filming.
The 21-year-old, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novel, joked at a fan event in Los Angeles: "I had three-hours of bad-a** training a day."
According to Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer added that the kick was in retaliation for an on-set prank between her and Josh: "I kicked him in the head, but he put a mutilated dummy on my toilet," she said.
Liam Hemsworth - who plays Gale Hawthorne - added: "Jennifer keeps you on your toes at all times. You never really know if she's going to kick you in the head or do something unexpected."
Over 1,000 fans turned up at the Westfield Century City mall to catch a glimpse of the stars, with some coming as far away as Mexico, Utah and Montana.
Jennifer described Katniss as a heroine, saying: "She is somebody that I admire. She's a futuristic Joan of Arc.
"She's a warrior for the people. There's not really anything that I don't like about this character."
