Lawrence tops most searched stars
Jennifer Lawrence is the most searched star of 2013, ahead of Hollywood hunks Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling and Johnny Depp.
The star of The Hunger Games and American Hustle topped IMDB's annual Top 100 Stars of the Year list by a wide margin, with 89% more page views than runner-up Chloe Grace Moretz.
Leonardo, who reunites with Martin Scorsese on The Wolf Of Wall Street, took third place, followed by Ryan and Tom Hardy for the top five, reported USA Today.
IMDb managing editor Keith Simanton admitted he was surprised by Jennifer's results, saying: "Some years, you'll see a star get 50% more votes than number 2. But 89%? We've never seen numbers like that."
Pitch Perfect's Anna Kendrick, Lone Ranger star Johnny, Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth and Benedict Cumberbatch round out the top ten, which is compiled by total page views over the year.
Charlie Hunnam took the top spot in the list of emerging stars, with Nicholas Hoult and the late Paul Walker in the second and third places respectively.
"He had always been popular and around the top 100 stars on the survey. When he died, we saw a flurry of activity as people scrolled through his photos, posted condolences. It was touching," Keith commented.
Other stars in the list of emerging talent include Shailene Woodley, Anna Kendrick's Pitch Perfect co-star Rebel Wilson, Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul and Logan Lerman.
The full list will be unveiled later today.
