Lily Collins joins Writers movie

Lily Collins has joined the cast of indie drama Writers.

The Abduction starlet joins Jennifer Connelly and Greg Kinnear in the film about family relationships, reports Variety.

She will play the college-aged daughter of Jennifer and Greg's characters, who is being pursued by a fellow student (Logan Lerman).

Kristen Bell, Nat Wolff and Liana Liberato have also joined the cast of the flick, which starts shooting next week.

The screenplay was penned by Josh Boone and he will also be making his directorial debut with the project.

It's the latest big casting for 22-year-old Lily, who is also said to be playing Juliet in Rosaline, a big screen version of Rebecca Serles' as-yet-unpublished novel When You Were Mine which gives Shakespearean tale Romeo and Juliet a modern spin.

And she will soon be seen in Tarsem Singh's Snow White remake Mirror Mirror.
