The stars of Loose Women held up paddles giving Ruth Langsford perfect 10 scores as it was announced she would be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV star is the third celebrity to be unveiled on the dancing show line-up.
Her fellow Loose Women panellists rushed to wish her well, with Linda Robson saying on the ITV chat show: “She is so elegant, she’s going to be amazing. We will all have to go down and support her.”
However, she warned the chairs round the dancefloor are “really uncomfortable”, adding: “They don’t move so you get one cheek on one chair and one cheek on the other.”
Our @RuthieeL is going to be on this year's Strictly. We know she will be great!💃— Loose Women (@loosewomen) August 9, 2017
Robson was a frequent visitor to the Strictly Come Dancing studio in 2016 when she sat in the audience to support her Birds Of A Feather co-star Lesley Joseph.
Her co-star Andrea McLean joked: “I will take my own cushions.”
Holmes wrote on Twitter: “My lovely @RuthieeL is taking to the @bbcstrictly dancefloor.
“Wish her well. I’m so proud… but nervous for her.”
Last year’s winner Ore Oduba also offered his good wishes, writing: “Positively beaming!!!! That grin will rarely leave your face @RuthieeL CONGRATS!!!!”
Langsford joins singer Mollie King and soap star Davood Ghadami on the line-up.
