Love Island 2017: Who are the new Irish contestants?

New love hopefuls are set to enter the Love Island villa during Thursday's episode and two of them hail from Ireland - so what do we know about the reality stars?

Rob Lipsett

The 25-year-old is from Rathgar, Dublin.

Rob is a fitness blogger with over 261,000 followers on Instagram and 22.6k followers on Twitter.

He has a successful YouTube channel which covers everything from fitness to crazy eating challenges - so far he has an impressive quarter of a million subscribers.

Rob started his career in the fitness industry by creating a Facebook page to track his workouts and progress, before joining YouTube and Instagram in 2014.

Rob hinted to his fans that he would be heading into the villa by sharing a photo from Ibiza with the caption: "Big LF twist on the horizon. Can't wait to share."

His sister is model Roz Lipsett, who is well known on the Dublin social scene.

Shannen Reilly McGrath

Shannen Reilly McGrath (ITV)

Shannen, 25, hails from Tallaght, Dublin.

She is described as 'Ireland's very own Dublin Barbie.'

Shannen was a contestant in Miss Ireland 2014, and was announced as the new Cocoa Brown brand ambassador days before it was revealed that she would be entering the Love Island Villa.

She is well-known in the Dublin modelling scene, and previously dated Big Brother star Bianca Gascoigne's ex CJ Meeks.

Shannen isn't hugely active on social media having only created her Twitter account earlier this month.

She currently has 8,800 followers on Instagram, although this will no doubt increase soon.

According to her Instagram she “has her eye on somebody already" in the villa.

Both Rob and Shannen will enter Love Island along with eight other contestants on Thursday in the hopes of winning £50,000 - and finding love of course.
